4:30 p.m. Wednesday — Wendy Hartnett, 26, was charged with retail theft after loss prevention officers at the Clearview Mall Giant Eagle found her with concealed items as she tried to leave the store.

Oct. 15 — Brianne Ray, 38, was charged with DUI and careless driving after she lost control of her Honda C-RV while traveling south on North Main Street and hit a large rock alongside the road. The disabled SUV ended up in the middle of the road near the entrance to Calvary Cemetery. Ray was not injured.

Wednesday — A Lyndora woman is charged with stealing 21 items from the Walmart at Butler Commons. Kathryn Paden, 39, faces summary retail theft charges for stealing various items worth $136.92. Paden, who has no prior retail theft charges, also owes $87.37 in restitution to Walmart.
