Tenerowicz 50th anniversary
Henry and Patricia Tenerowicz of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner, renewal of vows and Mass at St. Christopher at the Lake, Prospect, picnic at their Cook Forest cottage and a honeymoon trip to Cape Cod in the fall.
Tenerowicz married the former Patricia Kotvas on June 29, 1963, at St. Martha Catholic Church in Leechburg.
They have eight godchildren, 14 nieces and nephews and 15 grandnieces and nephews.
Tenerowicz retired from the U.S. Air Force and ARMCO/AK Steel after 35½ years. He has been an usher and has been a member of the finance council, men’s club and festival committee at St. Christopher at the Lake.
He has been a Steelers season ticket holder for 40 years and is a member of the Polish Falcons. He enjoys fishing.
Mrs. Tenerowicz retired from teaching first grade at Northwest School after 42 years. At St. Christopher at the Lake, she has been a member of the ladies guild and festival committee and has been involved in Butler community dinners.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association-Retired, Delta Kappa Gamma honorary society and the Leechburg Historical Society.
The Tenerowiczes enjoy their time at the cottage at Cook Forest.
