Mary Ann Fragale
Mary Ann Fragale, 79, of Butler passed away Monday at her home.
She was born in Butler, June 11, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Ida Marchinoski Codispot.
Mary Ann was the former credit manager at Troutman's department store, where she worked for more than 25 years, retiring when the store closed. She was a graduate of The Butler Business School.
She was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where she was the first May Queen in the new St. Michael Church.
Surviving are two sons, the Honorable Robert D. Fragale and his wife, Peggy, of Prospect, Ohio, and William J. Fragale and his wife, Nicki, of Butler; one daughter, Sharon Rose Fragale of Gainesville, Ga.; one brother, Joseph F. Codispot and his wife, Marsha, of Butler; two sisters, Emily Rumbaugh and her husband, Ronald, of Harrisville and Barbara Stanko of Butler; four grandchildren, Erin Margraf and her husband, Nick, of Waldo, Ohio, Matthew Fragale of Columbus, Ohio, Robert A. Fragale of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary A. Fragale of Columbus, Ohio; two step-grandchildren, Holly Beggs and her husband, Adam, of Butler and Petty Officer Michael F. Curran, U.S. Navy, South Carolina
She also is survived by and will be sadly missed by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who she loved dearly.
Her husband, George A. Fragale, passed away Dec. 24, 2010. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Joanne Gray and Delores Caccamo.
<B>FRAGALE </B>— Friends of Mary Ann Fragale, who died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, will be received in <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Father James Dolan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Thursday to conduct a scriptural wake service.The family requests memorial donations to Marion Catholic High School, 1001 Mt.
