VALENCIA — Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, will have its annual yard sale in the gym of the church Friday and Saturday.

The sale is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The sale will benefit ministries of the church.

CENTER TWP — A basket and bingo fundraiser will be Saturday at Center Township Elementary School, 950 Mercer Road.Doors will open at noon, and bingo starts at 12:30 p.m. There also will be a Chinese auction and bake sale.The ticket price includes lunch. RENFREW — The Butler County Humane Society will celebrate Easter from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the shelter, 1015 Evans City Road.The celebration includes activities for all ages including a Chinese auction, spring cash raffle and time to view and interact with adoptable pets.Visitors may take children and four-legged friends for photographs with the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Adult dog and cat adoptions will continue through the day for a discounted fee.Raffle tickets will be on sale at the shelter or during the open house.Refreshments will be provided.

LYNDORA — The Butler Organization for Research of the Unexplained and the Center for Unexplained Events will have the 7th annual Paranormal Conference from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 5 at the Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave.The event will include book signings, vendors, door prizes and raffles. Scheduled speakers include Fred Saluga on “The UFO and Bigfoot Connection” and Paul Johnson on “Does the Paranormal Mimic Quantum Reality?”Attendees taking a nonperishable food item will receive a discount on the admission price.
