Route 19 shopping center sold
CRANBERRY TWP — A township shopping center has sold for more than $26.5 million.
According to county real estate records, the Streets of Cranberry on Route 19 was sold Dec. 20 to DIV Cranberry LLC, a subsidiary of The Davis Companies, a Boston-based company with offices in Pittsburgh.
Transaction data shows the property was previously owned by IA Cranberry Specialty LP through InvenTrust Properties Corp.
According to Butler Eagle archives, the 106,454-square-foot Streets of Cranberry was built on 13.2 acres. It opened for business in March 2007 with 22 shops in the initial phase.
Marketed as a “lifestyles center,” it was developed by DRB Group of Pittsburgh and Continental Real Estate of Columbus, Ohio. InvenTrust has owned the property since that time.
Currently, the space features numerous retail stores such as Old Navy, Verizon, Justice, Sheila's Home Decor & Gifts and Mathew Jewelers, and restaurants such as Houlihan's and First Watch.
Officials with The Davis Companies could not be reached for comment Thursday.
