9:19 p.m. Monday — Someone in a white pickup truck stole scrap aluminum gutters belonging to the Butler Housing Authority from a work site at 300 Kaufman Drive.10:59 a.m. Saturday — Tiffany Lee Armour, 23, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police allegedly found a syringe and glass crack pipes in her makeup bag during a warrant arrest.9:19 a.m. Saturday — Someone stole an American flag belonging to Judy Wagner of Butler from the front porch of her Wilson Avenue residence.
3 p.m. Monday — Someone broke into a residence on Bessemer Avenue, entering through a window and stealing two stereo receivers and Xbox games.Noon Saturday — A vehicle driven by Elizabeth Cosme, 29, of Butler crashed into a tree along Evans Road. Cosme said she was swerving to avoid a collision with a small black car, possibly an Acura, driven by a young male. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9443.10:14 a.m. Saturday — Signs and shrubs at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church were damaged by a hit-and-run vehicle. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.10:02 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Thomas E. Neely Jr., 42, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Daniel Stevenson, 38, of Prospect collided at the intersection of Evans City Road and South Eberhart Road. Passengers in Stevenson's car, Rebecca McCracken, 25, a 5-year-old girl and a 1-year-old girl were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.4:19 p.m. Friday — Christopher Spears, 51, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole items from Friedman's Fresh Market in Point Plaza. He was placed in Butler County Jail on $10,000 bail.3:11 p.m. May 20 — Jonathan Buchanan, 21, of Boyers was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police allegedly discovered a crack pipe in his possession while investigating a disturbance in front of Sunnyview Home.5:36 a.m. May 20 — Robert Michael Pacelli, 38, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly failed to pay for gas at Sheetz.
5:30 a.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Deborah L. Rozic, 53, of Butler struck a deer on Route 8 near Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township. Rozic was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.7 a.m. Monday — Someone broke into the garage of Allegheny Auto on Heller Road in Jefferson Township and stole about $10,000 worth of tools and some inspection stickers between 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.Sunday — Someone issued a bad check in excess of $15,000 to Lezzer Lumber in East Butler. Police are investigating.8:07 a.m. April 19 — A vehicle driven by Paul S. Slupe, 55, of Butler and a bicycle ridden by Kevin C. McGlashan, 51, of Evans City collided at the intersection of Route 422 and Unionville Road in Franklin Township. Slupe was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. McGlashan was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. McGlashan was charged with driving under the influence.4:12 a.m. May 21 — Someone burglarized the residence at 428 Cemetery Road in Venango Township. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.
May 21 — Police are searching for Ashley Elizabeth Turner, 16, of Hadley, Pa., who has been missing since May 21. Turner is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Anyone who has contact with her should call police at 724-662-6162.
8 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Justin T. Hooks, 19, of Kittanning crashed into a tree along Route 28 near Furnace Run Road in South Buffalo Township. Hooks was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
5:45 a.m. Friday — A motorcycle driven by Raymond Moretti, 44, of Clarion struck a deer on Route 68 in Madison Township. Moretti was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries.
