2:38 a.m. Sunday — Lori Ann Zandier, 23, of Butler Township was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street. Police said Zandier was also cited for a traffic light violation.State Police, Butler4:30 p.m. Sunday — Arthur Holmes, 40, of Portersville was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 68 in Harmony. Police said Holmes, who also was cited for several undisclosed traffic violations, was placed in the Butler County Prison on a bench warrant.6:19 a.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Jill Bowser, 21, of Slippery Rock and Robert Stephenson, 65, of Oil City collided on Route 108 near Stoughton Road in Slippery Rock Township.Police said Stephenson suffered minor cuts from broken glass. Apassenger in Stephenson's car, Sharyn Stephenson, 59, of Oil City, was treated at Grove City Medical Center for a minor leg injury.Sunday — Police are seeking the person or people who threw rocks at four vehicles in Center Township between 3 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.Three of the damaged vehicles were hit in the Clearview Mall parking lot; the other vehicle, aFreightliner truck tractor, was hit at a Route 38 home.Anyone with information about the rock throwing is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.4 p.m. Saturday — Police are investigating a reported burglary at a Washington Township home. Police said someone broke into 213 Old Brick Road and rifled through closets and knocked down a shelf. Apolice report did not indicate if anything was taken.2:52 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Jennifer Lynn Adams, 26, of Pittsburgh struck two trees along Annisville Road in Washington Township. Police said Adams was cited for a lane violation.11:45 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Shane Morgan, no age given, of Slippery Rock struck the rear of another car at Route 173 and Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township.Morgan and a passenger in his vehicle, Christopher Bowser, no age given, of Slippery Rock, suffered minor injuries. Police said Morgan was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. John Soplinski, no age given, of Pittsburgh was driving the car that was rear-ended in the crash.9:10 a.m. Saturday — Police are investigating an apparent accidental shooting at an Oak Road home in Donegal Township. Mark David Headland, 45, of Chicora was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for a gunshot wound in the leg, and released.10:14 a.m. Friday — Pickup trucks driven by Roy Howard II, 26, of Pittsburgh and James Goetz, 44, of Portersville collided on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Police said Howard was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.10 a.m. Friday — Christopher Lawrence Edwards, 27, of Chicora, wanted on a warrant on gun charges, was arrested at an East Drive home in Chicora. Police said Edwards was found with suspected heroin when he was arrested.Edwards was arraigned on charges of felons not to possess firearms, possession of a gun without a permit, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property. Following arraignment, Edwards was placed in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.Friday — About 50 feet of copper wire was stolen between 1 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday from warehouse electrical boxes at U.S. Storage on Winfield Road in Winfield Township.3:54 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Butler girl and a car driven by Rebecca Hunt, 23, of Butler collided on Route 68 near Davis Road in Oakland Township. The car, following the collision, struck a parked car owned by John Beatty of Butler.

11:15 p.m. Saturday — A Knox man and a Rimersburg woman were injured when their all-terrain vehicle crashed on Saint Mark's Road in Ashland Township, Clarion County.The crash occurred after Jessica Neely, 18, a passenger, fell off the ATV. The driver, Daniel Brosius, 21, lost control of the vehicle, which struck a drainage ditch, became airborne and then hit a road sign and utility pole.Brosius was flown by medical helicopter to an undisclosed Pittsburgh hospital for serious head injuries. Neely was taken by ambulance to Clarion Hospital for moderate head injuries. Neither Brosius' nor Neely's condition was known this morning.Police said charges are pending in the crash, which remains under investigation. Investigators did not know if Brosius was wearing a helmet; Neely was not wearing a helmet.

Thursday — Someone stole various gasoline supplies from Armstrong Gas' construction site off Chechak Road in North Buffalo Township. The value of the loss was unknown Saturday.12:05 a.m. Sept. 5 — A 17-year-old North Buffalo Township male was charged with drug possession with the intent to manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly growing four marijuana plants inside his Wyant Road residence. The charges were filed through Armstrong County Juvenile Probation. The investigation is ongoing.
