Hot 'n' Honeyed Chicken Wings

1 cup picante sauce

¼ cup honey

½ teaspoon ground ginger

12 chicken wings or 24 chicken drumettes

Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Stir the picante sauce, honey and ginger in a large bowl. Line a shallow baking pan with aluminum foil.

Cut chicken wings at the joints to make 36 pieces. Discard tips or save them for another use. Add wings to picante sauce mixture and toss to coat. Place wings into the baking pan.

Bake for 55 minutes or until wings are cooked through, turning and brushing often with picante sauce mixture during the last 30 minutes of baking.
