Warriors hold off Keystone
Tyler Grossman had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Armagost added 13 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists to lead Moniteau to a 50-44 victory over Keystone in KSAC boys basketball Friday.
The Panthers assembled a late run to make the game interesting, outscoring the Warriors (18-3, 10-1) 12-2 over the final 2:30.
The Warriors took sole possession of the conference lead over Keystone (12-6, 9-2).

Slippery Rock's boys defeated Hickory 44-29 Thursday while the Rocket girls posted a 65-53 triumph. Andrew Opalewski, who broke the school's 500-yard freestyle record Monday, reduced the mark to 5 minutes, 43.16 seconds and qualified for the District 10 meet.Individual and relay first-place finishers for the Rocket boys were Opalewski, Nathan Eilenfeldt, Jacob Johnston and Chuck Davies.On the girls side, individual and relay first-place finishers were Lauren Tibbens, Hannah Parsons, Alyssa Martinez, Andrea Shaffer, Britley Raabe, Rachel Opp, Calley Bridges, Vicky Kosiorek and Bethany Johnston.
