Moore 50th anniversary
Edward M. and Janice M. Moore of Sarver will celebrate 50 years of marriage with their siblings and lifelong friends at a luncheon Friday hosted by their grandchildren Kayla and Gregory Newman at Monte Cello's in Cranberry Township.
The Moores also will travel with their daughter and her husband to the Sight and Sound Theatre to see the Miracle of Christmas.
Moore married the former Janice Gaydos on Oct. 23, 1965, at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church in Tarentum.
They have two children, Annett (Greg) Newman of Sarver and Edward (Cecilia) Moore II of Tucson, Ariz.
They also have seven grandchildren.Moore was a welder at Pullman-Standard. He is a U.S. Army veteran and served in Korea.Moore enjoys working on cars and tinkering in his garage.Mrs. Moore has been a compassionate caregiver for many years. She enjoys watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.The couple enjoys camping and spending time with their friends.The Moores are members of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.
