Moniteau quarterback Kyle Armagost and Union quarterback Taylor Smith were each recognized as backs of the year by the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Wednesday night.

Armagost won the KSAC Big School award.

The senior has thrown for 1,742 yards and 18 touchdowns and also has rushed for 1,079 yards and 19 scores for the undefeated Warriors, who are still alive in the playoffs and will take on Oliver tonight.

Smith won the KSAC Small School award.

The senior also was a dual threat under center with 1,201 yards passing and 15 touchdowns and 561 yards and five scores on the ground.
