Mike King, who led the Knoch football team to the WPIAL title game and a 12-1 record this season, was named Greater Allegheny Football Conference Coach of the Year Thursday.

The Knights were well represented on the team with Ky Kenyon (quarterback), Andrew Rumburg-Goodlin (running back), Mac Megahan (wide receiver, Defensive back), Austin Slupe (guard), Andrew Tuzikow (fullback, linebacker), Luke Kroneberg (linebacker) and Jonathan Whalen (down lineman) all making the first team.

Mars also had a slew of selections, highlighted by Chris Panza (down lineman), Brian Cassidy (tight end), Connor Biggs (guard), Jake Wright (running back), Ryan Gralish (kicker) and Jason Lozzi (fullback) making the first team.
