Paul and Evelyn Rodgers

Paul and Evelyn Rodgers of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Rodgers married the former Evelyn Rearick Dec. 18, 1965, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have seven children, Pamela (David) Daugherty of Valley Station, Ky., and Teresa (Jeff) Hepler, Rita Cravener, Paul (Marie) Rodgers, Ellen Enslen, Darla Rodgers and Wayne (Daelene) Rodgers, all of Butler.

They also have 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.Rodgers is retired. He was a punch operator at Pullman and a mechanic at Kar Kare. He also is a U.S. Army veteran.Mrs. Rodgers is a housewife.The Rodgerses are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
