GRIDIRON GEMS

RYAN CURRIE (Slippery Rock) had 26 carries for 129 yards and four touchdowns in the Rockets’ 32-26 victory over Brashear.

JORDAN BROWN (Seneca Valley) rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, threw for 192 yards and two scores in the Raiders’ 24-9 win over Butler.

R.J McCAULEY (Seneca Valley) caught five passes for 102 yards — including two touchdowns — and intercepted a pass in the Raiders’ victory.

CANAN ROSKOVSKI (Butler) had six receptions for 99 yards and 242 all-purpose yards, including a 74-yard kickoff return, in the Golden Tornado’s loss to Seneca Valley.

BEN TACKETT (Knoch) had a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and scored four TDs in the Knights’ 28-14 win over Greensburg Salem.

NATE ANUSKIEWICZ and LUKE KRONEBERG (Knoch) had three quarterback sacks each in the Knights’ victory.

JOSH SCHULTHEIS (Mars) had 27 carries for 164 yards and two touchdowns in the Planets’ 21-17 win over Franklin Regional.

OWEN NEARHOOF (Mars) passed for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Planets’ victory.

WYATT EVERETTS (Karns City) had seven carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns in the Gremlins’ 38-25 win over St. Marys.

TYLER KEPPLE (Karns City) threw for 132 yards and ran 82 yards for a touchdown in the Gremlins’ victory.

BRODY SHICK (Union) returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown and scored on a 1-yard run in the Golden Knights’ 16-14 win over A-C Valley.

KEVIN KAUFMAN (A-C Valley) threw for 124 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ loss to Union.

DAMON SMITH (Freeport) had 22 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns in the Yellowjackets’ 32-21 win over Kittanning.

BRENDAN LYNCH (Freeport) rushed for 109 yards and threw a pair of touchdown passes in the Yellowjackets’ victory.

FOSTER REZNOR (Grove City) had 11 carries for 94 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 40-0 win over Carrick.

CHAD WILLIAMS (Grove City) scored touchdowns all four times he touched the ball in the Eagles’ 40-0 rout of Carrick.
