Freeport grad tosses no-hitter
ERIE — Freeport graduate Ashleigh Schmidt tossed a no-hitter Tuesday for the Penn State Behrend softball team.
Schmidt defeated the Medaille Mavericks that day in posting Behrend’s first no-hitter since the 2009 season.
