James English

James Robert English of Evans City celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Harmony Moose in Harmony.

English was born March 17, 1926, in Harmony. He married the late Charlotte Mae Bond on Feb. 14, 1949, in Ellwood City.

He has five children, Wynonia (Gregory) Cecci of Washington, N.C., Melinda (Charles) Kildoo of Hermitage, James (Patricia) English of Harmony, Pamela (Duane) Cummings of Grove City and Eric (Cheryl) English of Freedom.

He also has 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

English was a millwright and electrician at J&L Aliquippa Works.

He is a member of Saint John’s United Church of Christ of Evans City. He also is a member of the American Legion, the VFW and a bowling league.
