A July 16 wedding is being planned by Shannon Mickey of Butler and Gregory Czzowitz of Alexandria, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Sandra Mickey of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Lewis and Barbara Czzowitz of Butler.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Knoch High School and a 1997 graduate of Grove City College where she received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary and early childhood education. She works as director and teacher at Nixon Preschool in Butler.

Her fiancé is a 1988 graduate of Butler High School and a 1992 graduate of Gannon University, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in communication arts. He works as a television director at C-Span in Washington, D.C.
