An October wedding is being planned by Kristin Richdale and Edward Stellingwerf, both of South Orange, N.J.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Peter and Jody Richdale of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Charles and Kathleen Stellingwerf of Newfoundland, N.J.

The bride-elect is a 1990 graduate of Butler High School and a 1994 graduate of Penn State University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in actuarial science. She works as a consulting associate at Callan Associates in Morristown, N.J.

Her fiancé is a senior financial advisor at Banc of America Investments in New York City.
