An Oct. 8 wedding is being planned by Chicora residents Barbara Geibel and Daniel Geibel.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Marie Geibel of Chicora. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Carl and Kathy Anderson of Chicora and George Geibel of Kittanning.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Karns City High School. She works as an investigative specialist at U.S. Investigations Services in Boyers.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Karns City High School. He is a lineman for Armstrong Cable Services in Butler.
