A June 18 wedding is being planned by Beth Shearer of Butler and Michael McCloskey of Chicora.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donald and Edna Shearer of Butler. Parents of the prospective-bridegroom are Joseph and Evelyn McCloskey of Chicora.

The bride is a 1985 graduate of Butler High School and the Butler Vocational-Technical School. She works at Butler Pediatrics.

Her fiancé graduated in 1983 from Butler High School and in 1988 from Penn State University. He is the owner of To Knight Disc Jockey in Chicora.
