A Sept. 24 wedding is being planned by Erann Smith and Eric Heltzell, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Vern Smith, Debbie Smith and Butch Hutcheson, all of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dave and Karen Heltzell of Butler.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of Butler County Community College. She works for the Butler County Department of Transportation.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Butler High School. He works for Pioneer Service and Supply in Mars.
