An Aug. 20 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Amanda Glasgow and Jon Frederick.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas Glasgow of West Sunbury and the late Gail Kobielsky. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert Frederick of Center Township and Deborah Frederick of Highfield.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School. She works for Coldwell Banker Real Estate in Renfrew.

Her fiancé is a 1997 graduate of BHS. He works at Mine Safety in Evans City, and the Cummings Coffee and Candy Shop in Butler.
