Allene Adkins

Allene Adkins of Butler will celebrate her 90th birthday at an open house and luncheon from noon to 3 p.m. May 22 at 256 Claytonia Road, Butler.

The former Allene Elliott was born May 21, 1926, in Butler. She married the late Ray Adkins Oct. 20, 1945, at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.

She has three children, the late Bonnie Schurtz, Linda Meinert of West Sunbury and Kay Kort of Butler.

She also has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Adkins is a homemaker and the former owner of Kozy Korner Store.

She is a lifetime member of St. Mark’s. She is a volunteer serving funeral dinners at St. Mark’s.
