Dorothy Myers

Dorothy Myers of Portersville celebrated her 98th birthday with a family dinner at the Saxonburg Hotel in Saxonburg.

The former Dorothy Beighley was born March 29, 1918, in Ellwood City. She married the late Ernest Richard Myers on Aug. 28, 1943, at Mountville Presbyterian Church in Portersville.

She has three children, Richard Charles Myers of Rockledge, Fla., Beth Ann Patton of Portersville and Sue Elaine Haggerty of Saxonburg.

She also has three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Myers is a retired teacher who taught in a one-room school.

She is a member of Portersville Presbyterian Church and Keenagers in Portersville.
