A June 18 wedding is being planned by Malynda Henricks of Slippery Rock and William Bortz Jr. of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Sandra Henricks of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are William and Martha Bortz of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and the Butler Area Vocational Technical School. She is currently attending Butler County Community College and working for DSC Financial Services in Portersville.

Her fiancé also graduated in 1997 from Slippery Rock and Butler Area Vo-Tech. He is employed by Armstrong Cable in Butler.
