A June 25 wedding is being planned by Meghan McGarry and Brett Unks, both of Somerville, Mass.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Donna McGarry of Caliente, Calif., and Susie McGarry of Encinitas, Calif. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ed Unks and Terril McBride of Prospect, and Doug and Bonnie Custead of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of LaCosta Canyon High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She is an IT specialist for the Chandra X-Ray Center for the Harvard-Smithsonian in Boston.

Her fiancé is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and a 2002 graduate of North Carolina State. He is also an IT specialist for the Chandra X-Ray Center for the Harvard-Smithsonian in Boston, Mass.
