An Oct. 8 wedding is being planned by Karlyn Hecksel of Beaver Falls and Aaron Balfour of Callery.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dale and Toni Hecksel of Rockford, Mich. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Wanda Balfour of Callery and the late Earl Balfour.

The bride-elect graduated in 1997 from Rockford High School and attended Geneva College. She works at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Her fiancé is a 1994 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of Butler County Community College, where he earned a degree in Computer Information Systems. He is a veteran of the Air Force.
