An Oct. 29 wedding is being planned by Emily Sloan and John Tadlock, both of Falls Church, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sloan of Chantilly, Va., and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ronald Roach of Zelienople. Mother of the prospective bridegroom is Linaka Groller of Macungie.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Penn State University. She works for Bush-Cheney '04 in Arlington, Va.

Her fiancé is a 1995 graduate of Johnson and Wales University. He is a chef at McCormicks and Schmicks, Arlington, Va
