An Oct. 29 wedding is being planned by Kellie Cooper of Butler and Charles Rodgers of Slippery Rock.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John "Jack" and Karen Cooper of Butler. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charles and Betty Rodgers of Slippery Rock.

The bride-elect is a 1983 graduate of Butler High School, a 1987 graduate of Point Park University, where she received a bachelor's degree in education, and a 2005 graduate of Butler County Community College where she received an associate of applied science degree in computer forensics. She works for Crompton Corp. in Petrolia.

Her fiancé graduated in 1988 from Slippery Rock High School and also graduated in 2005 from BC3 with an associate of applied science degree in computer forensics. He works for RMCI in Boyers.
