A July 30 wedding is being planned by Amanda Voelker of Butler and Luke Pollick of New Kensington.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Roger and Judy Voelker of Butler. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Steve Pollick of New Kensington and Liz Kovach of Leechburg.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and received a degree in dental assisting and dental hygiene in 2004. She works in the office of Dr. Kevin Sullivan, DMD, in Fox Chapel.

Her fiancé graduated in 1996 from Kiski High School and in 2000 from Slippery Rock University with a degree in health and physical education. He works as a physical education teacher in the Highland School District.
