A July 9 wedding is being planned by Shannon Herman of Butler and Todd Kushner of Carnegie.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Linda Herman of Butler. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. James Kushner of Wexford.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She works as a substitute teacher in the Butler School District.

Her fiancé graduated in 1997 from North Allegheny High School and in 2001 from University of Pittsburgh. He works at Tetra Tech NUS in Greentree.
