An Aug. 20 wedding is being planned by Bobbi Erkens and Jay Lalley, both of Hanover.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Paul and Dena Erkens of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Charles and Patricia Lalley of Port Crane, N.Y.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of Thiel College. She works in the Department of Defense in Fort Meade, Md.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Chenango Valley High School and in 1999 from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. He works for Keller Brothers in Mount Airy, Md.
