A Sept. 3 wedding is being planned by Amy Schwimmer and Todd Minnear, both of Fredericksburg, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim and Vivian Schwimmer, and Marcy Deeter, all of Franklin. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ken and Betty Minnear, and Gordon and Janis Powell, all of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Franklin High School and a 2000 graduate of the Northwest Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology. She works at Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg, Va.

Her fiancé attended Moniteau High School and earned a maser's of physical therapy in 2003 from Gannon University. He works for Physical Medicine and Rehab in Fredericksburg, Va.
