An Oct. 15 wedding is being planned by Kimberly Ambuster of Butler and Thomas Extein of Harborcreek.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas and Elaine Ambuster of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Gerald and Gerri Extein of Harborcreek.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Moniteau, a 2001 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 2004 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University. She works for Lowe's Home Improvement in Butler.

Her fiancé is a 1999 graduate of Mercyhurst Prep and a 2003 graduate of Edinboro University. He is a directory assistant for Verizon in Erie.
