Derrick Elliott scored 18 points, but the Summit Academy boys basketball team dropped a 48-47 decision to Quaker Valley in the preliminary round of the WPIALClass AA playoffs at Aliquippa Friday.

The Knights finished the season at 11-12 while the Quakers improved to 16-9 and will advance to the first round on Tuesday.
