The Karns City boys track and field team dispatched Cranberry 114-31 to capture its seventh consecutive KSAC championship.

The 8-0 record also improved the squad's unbeaten streak to 81 meets. The Gremlins' last loss came in 2001.

Anthony Stimac won the 100 and 200-meter events as well as being a member of the winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams.

In the girls meet, Karns City prevailed 111-38 as Amber Saunders won all three jumps and Audra Buechele both hurdles events.

In other meets:

• The Slippery Rock boys and girls teams each earned the Region 2 championship title with 85-65 and 81-69 victories, respectively, over Grove City.

The girls, who won their third straight crown, were led by Elissa McCune, who won the 100, 200, 300 hurdles and anchored the 1,600 relay. Sam Amyx picked up a pair of wins for the Rockets.

In the boys meet, Ian Campbell won the 100, high jump and triple jumps and Ethan Geisler won both hurdles events.

• Lucas Rodgers, Tyler Armagost and Victor Santoyo each claimed two individual events in leading the Moniteau boys team to a 99½-55½ victory over A-C Valley. Mike Himes won both hurdles events and the triple jump to lead the Falcons.

In the girls meet, Erika Rothen won both hurdles events and Emily Milford the 1,600 and 3,200 to lead A-C Valley (5-4) to an 89-57 win. Ellie Hillard won the shot put and discus to pace Moniteau.

• The Union boys team won 16 of 18 events in rolling to a 112-38 victory over Clarion-Limestone. The Damsels dropped an 83-66 decision despite a pair of wins from Lepha Logue and Jenna Holden.
