Clairton's streak snapped at 66
CLAIRTON — The longest high school football winning streak in the nation ended Friday night when the Clairton Bears suffered a 42-24 defeat to Monesson.
Clairton hadn’t lost since Sept. 4, 2009 and the Bears have won four consecutive WPIAL and PIAA Class A titles since. The winning streak lasted 1,471 days.
