The Grove City High football team's offense struggled all night in a 13-7 overtime loss at Greenville Friday.

The Eagles (3-2) were limited to 109 total yards and did not score until 1:02 remained in the fourth quarter. Dwayne Martin got the touchdown on a 2-yard run.

The score was set up by a bad snap on a Greenville punt that gave Grove City possession at the Trojans' 20-yard line.

Greenville took a 7-0 lead on Dylan Zuschlag's 2-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Grove City had possession first in overtime, but Martin was stopped short of the goal line on fourth down from the 1-yard line.

R.J. Malson scored on a 3-yard run when Greenville (4-1) got the ball to end the game.

Casey Shay led the Eagles with 15 carries for 83 yards. Garrett Herald and Phil Schneider had interceptions for Grove City.

The Eagles managed only five first downs and quarterback Tyler Dagres completed four of 13 passes for nine yards.

Zuschlag paced Greenville with 19 carries for 80 yards.

Valley 47, Summit Academy 7 — The Knights remained winless as Valley's LeBren O'Neal rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns.Summit Academy managed only 86 yards of net offense. The Knights' lone score was a 4-yard touchdown pass from Mike Martin to Bijon Marshall with three seconds left in the first half.
