The Grove City High football team scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to rally past Corry, 29-20, Friday night.

The Eagles (5-2, 2-0) trailed 12-7 entering the final period before scoring three touchdowns. Casey Shay scored on runs of 23 and 13 yards and Tyler Dagres tossed a 3-yard touchdown pass to Ryan McGeehan.

Shay had 29 carries for 206 yards and three touchdowns on the night. Dwayne Martin added 144 yards on 18 carries for Grove City.

Corry quarterback Scottie Frisina threw for 327 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort. Craig Marti had seven catches for 195 yards.

Grove City travels to Meadville (5-2, 2-0) next Friday.

The Slippery Rock JVs picked up a pair of victories recently, defeating Wilmington 5-1 and Mercer 1-0.Cody Wolinski had two goals, assisted by Quay Barnhart, in the win over Wilmington and scored the lone goal, assisted by Ken Tibbens, against Mercer.
