Dwayne Martin rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown Friday night as Grove City shut out Meadville 17-0 in high school football.

Martin also threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Juan Navia. Both Eagles touchdowns were scored in the fourth quarter.

Bobby Kowalsky broke a scoreless tie in the third quarter with a 24-yard field goal for Grove City (6-2, 3-0).

Punxsutawney 33, Union 14 — The Golden Knights (1-7) got on the board first when Trent Switzer returned a fumble 28 yards for a touchdown, but Punxsutawney (3-5) had a 20-7 lead by halftime.Union's other score was a 5-yard run by Matt Gagliano.

Kittanning 48, Summit Academy 7 — The Knights (2-6) had a two-game winning streak snapped. Darnell Jenkins caught a 5-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for Summit's lone score.

Drew Clausen had four saves in recording the shutout.Grove City's junior varsity posted a 3-0 win behind goals by Andy DiStasi, Nate Jaillet and Yuri Grossman.

<B>Warren 2, Slippery Rock 0 — </B>Ali Doyle was in goal for the Rockets in this Thursday loss.Heather Finecy scored the lone goal for the Slippery Rock junior varsity in a 1-1 tie. Jordan Marks was the Rockets' goalkeeper.
