Slippery Rock had five players score in double figures — led by Kourtney Rhoads' 16 points — as Slippery Rock rolled to a 73-55 girls basketball win over Maplewood Monday.
Taylor Crocker added 15 points, Karly Rhoads had 14 points and eight assists, Adele Campbell had 12 points, seven rebounds and six blocks, and Sarah Cessar he 10 points and nine rebounds for the Rockets (2-3), who drained 11 3-pointers.

Butler improved to 5-1 in dual meets this season by winning four of five team matches at the Commodore Perry Duals over the weekend.The Golden Tornado's lone loss was to nationally ranked Reynolds. Butler defeated Port Allegany 41-30, Hickory 52-18, Mercer 46-20 and Sharpsville 69-12.Cole Baxter went 5-0 at 145 pounds and was named Butler's Most Valuable Wrestler. Mike Crawford, Eric Tuck, Chris White and Marino Quercio all finished 4-1.
