Cody Hartman (130 pounds), Dillon Weston (135), Dakoda Collins (145), Derek Hays (160) and Mike Scialabba (171) each registered pins as the Butler wrestling team captured a 69-4 preliminary-round victory over South Allegheny in the WPIALClass AAA team playoffs at Elizabeth-Forward Monday.

Butler (10-4) also saw Cole Baxter improve to 20-0 with a major decision victory at 152.

With the win, No. 13 seed Butler will face host Penn-Trafford, the No. 3 seed, at 6 p.m. today.

On Friday, Butler will face Hopewell in a dual match, then go to the Sharon Duals on Saturday.
