Tyler Izenas scored the game's lone goal in the first half to lift the Seneca Valley boys soccer team to a 1-0 win over visiting Shaler Thursday.
Justin McAtee made 10 saves for SV (8-5-1, 5-2-1), which will travel to Pine-Richland Tuesday for another crucial Section 2-AAA clash.

Knoch 3, Kittanning 2 — Klaus Ondrizek, Kory Wood and Trevor Gordon scored goals in the victory.Knoch (7-6-1, 6-3) led 3-1 and held off a late Kittanning charge for the win.
