The Butler High bowling team made its debut Wednesday night against North Allegheny, splitting four matches.

The Golden Tornado girls varsity and junior varsity teams posted victories while the boys varsity and junior varsity were defeated.

The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Bowling League consists of 45 schools. Butler competes in a section with Karns City, Mars, North Allegheny, North Hills and Shaler.

The Golden Tornado travel to North Hills next Wednesday.
