Goalkeeper Garrett Gabriel and the Mars defense recorded their third straight shutout, blanking section rival Freeport 4-0 in high school boys soccer action Saturday.

Alex Perri, Yulian Lutsiv, Brendan Frank and Josh Brake each scored goals for the Planets (6-3-1, 4-2-1).

Freeport, which opened the season 6-1 by outscoring its opponents 31-9, fell to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in the section.
