St. Marys rolls over Union

St. Marys controlled the line of scrimmage Friday night in hanging a 55-12 football loss on Union.

Kyle Schneider rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown, while Kevin Hoy ran for 110 yards and a score for the hosts. St. Marys rushed for 368 yards on the night and had a 35-0 lead by halftime.

The Golden Knights managed only 74 yards rushing. Most of that came on a 59-yard touchdown run by Kaden McGregor with 10:27 left in the game.

Aaron Graham returned a kickoff 78 yards for Union's other score.

<B>Cranberry 3, Moniteau 0 — </B>The Warriors closed their season by falling to the Berries by scores of 25-22, 25-5, 25-15.Mariah Clark had three kills, and Katie Brehm had three kills and five blocks.

The Butler girls finished fourth in the 51-team field at the Tri-State Invitational Thursday at Cooper's Lake. Danica Snyder finished second overall for the Golden Tornado with a time of 19 minutes, .01 seconds.Alexis Swiergol finished 19th in 19:46.Knoch's Emilee Hertweck was 25th in 19:54.The Butler boys finished 17th in a 59-team field. Evan Gomez was 15th in 16:35.
