Fennell MVP as Freeport wins tourney

Three Freeport players scored in double figures in the Yellowjackets’ 61-57 win over Ford City at the Freeport Boys Basketball Christmas Tournament on Saturday.

Josh Beale tallied a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Hunter Fennell scored 15 points and Codey Digiacobbe 10 for Freeport (5-3).

Fennell was chosen as the tourney’s MVP and Mason Eddinger made the All-Tournament Team.
