Lee's 24 leads Mars girls past Trinity
Alexa Lee scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Mars girls basketball team to a 57-48 non-section win at Trinity Thursday night.
Kelsey Pelles added 13 points and Carly Clark 10 for the Planets (4-3).

Butler's varsity boys and girls improved to 3-0 with wins over Mars Wednesday.Brandt Fleming led the boys victory with a 278, including nine strikes to begin the first game. He had a 654 series. Braedyn Troyan chipped in with a 602 as the team shot a season-high 2,986 for its set.Nicole Balk turned in a 673 series for the girls. Autumn Hepler added a 580 and Heather Paul a 562 as the team shot a season-high 2,830 for three games.Josh Bartley rolled a 244 for the Planets. Mars' girls were led by a pair of 159-games by Amanda Kopinski.
