Locher records historic night for Mars

There are special nights in high school basketball, but some are more special than others.

Mars' Christian Locher tallied 35 points, giving him 1,026 points in his varsity career, and his four 3-pointers gave him a school-record 151 in the Planets boys 70-48 victory over Deer Lakes Friday.

Locher broke Tim Frye's record of 149.

Brad Weischedel had 12 points for Mars.
