SV's Miller joins WPIAL golf finals
Seneca Valley junior golfer Blake Miller fired a 79 at the WPIAL boys individual semifinals at Ponderosa Golf Club in Beaver County Wednesday afternoon.
The performance tied Miller for ninth place. The top 12 advance to the WPIAL finals, to be held Wednesday at Treesdale Golf Club.
Failing to advance were Butler golfers Phil Schultz (81), Corey Morabito (82) and Conner Gray (85).

Anthony Easley added two goals, Eric Easley and Tyler Michael one each.Karns City has scored 55 goals in nine games. David Olszak made nine saves for the Gremlins, who host DuBois Central Catholic Monday.
